Great Cruise! (best for adults)
My husband and I (in our 30s, for reference) absolutely loved this cruise! The staff was attentive and friendly. Everything was very nice and also very clean. There were loads of activities to choose from and also lots of spots to play a game or read a book and relax. Our 2nd port day got switched to a sea day due to bad weather, and I was happy to sail into beautiful weather and just stay on the ship. They added activities, and we had another great sea day. DRINKS: Drinks were pretty reasonably priced, with lots of options in the $8-$12 range. We didn't get a drink package, and instead just bought drinks as we went because that was cheaper for us. Things to keep in mind: 1) you won't drink as much on port days, 2) everyone in the cabin has to get the drink package, 3) BUT drinks are very readily available - always someone nearby to take your order if you want something (not in an annoying way). KIDS: I only saw about 10-15 kids on this cruise. There WERE activities for kids, and I can't speak to those, because we left our kids at home with Grandma. I think I'd pick a different cruise if I was bringing my kids. This isn't a ship that's geared toward kids, and they probably won't have many other kids to play with. It's totally fine to bring kids on this cruise though. ENTERTAINMENT: 1) 12-person singing and dancing production with a theme of 70s music 2) A performance by a male singer who was super talented, but I didn't know all of the songs (maybe just me) 3) A comedian who some will find offensive and some will find funny 4) A cabaret with generally known music and 4 really talented singers ACTIVITIES: I love dance, so I did all the dance classes, dance-fitness classes, and dance parties (including 2 silent discos!). I also enjoyed several "game shows" which involved some audience participation at times and were pretty entertaining. They had loads of activities to choose from, but these were the ones I enjoyed most! The activities team was awesome, and they were even calling me by name after I attended a few events. Roberto, Alijandro, Hannah, Jason, Anna...you guys rock! FOOD: Great food a plenty! They had so many options, and they make some really delicious food. My only critique is that about 90% of the desserts are pretty light and airy. You might pick up something that looks like a cupcake with buttercream frosting, but it's definitely not buttercream. All the frostings were...not American. I missed the heavy and decedent desserts I'm used to in the States. None of it was bad, but it was the weakest point for me. (Exception: the cheesecakes - yum!) SHIP SIZE: I heard our ship was sold out, but it never felt overwhelming. You could always find a beach chair, table to eat lunch, seat at the theater, or cozy nook to read a book. The ship was big without being TOO overwhelming. The rooms were more spacious than I expected. (The beds were comfortable too.) Also of note - the bathrooms around the ship all felt very luxurious. Wasn't expecting that! My biggest critique is that you have to be out of your room by 7:30am, and that feels way too early. Everyone heads to the buffet to get breakfast and then leave at your designated time (latest time is 9am). I get that they need to get everyone out, but 7:30 just feels a bit too early!

Great to be back on the ship never disappoints
Our three-day cruise to Key West and Nassau on the Celebrity Silhouette was an absolute blast! We booked two cabins, one on deck 10 with a veranda (C2 category) for my mom and me, and another inside category I1 on deck 9 For my dad Check-in was a breeze, and we boarded the ship at Port Everglades terminal 29, our first time there. We took a shuttle from the palm parking garage, but it was mostly crowded. Once we were on board, we headed straight to our cabins. My mom’s was a lovely ice cabin, and the bathroom amenities were top-notch. My dad’s room was even better - it had a standard bathroom and a super comfortable bed. The food was amazing! We ate in the dining room all three days and had no complaints about the food or service. Jason was our server, and he was incredible. He even brought us the Chef special every night. The burgers at the mast grill were delicious, and the breakfast buffet was fantastic. The only downside was that the ship was super crowded at full capacity. It was a bit hard to find a seat with a view at the buffet but we still had a great time. Embarkation was a breeze - all we had to do was walk off the ship and head to our car. This was our first cruise with Celebrity, and we’ve never done this before because you usually go on seven-day cruises with them. But we hope to do this again soon. It was absolutely wonderful! I’ll definitely be back on the ship after 2022.

Enjoyable short cruise!
Just disembarked from the 4 night, which included Nassau, and Bimini. I'll just hit on a few of the highlights and a couple of minor issues. We had anytime dining, so on night 1, we went to the main dining room. (Anytime dining checks in at Deck 4, while everyone else checks in at Deck 3.) We were very pleased with our waiter and asked to reserve a table with him the remainder of the week. We were told to just request him each day at check in. This worked seamlessly, as the system automatically pulled up our previous night's dining, and they were easily able to assign us to the same or adjacent "table for 2" in his area. We don't get the beverage package since we only occasionally drink sodas, but drinks are free in the casino, so it was nice to order there at no cost. The pool deck has a station with free sunscreen and aloe gel which we had never noticed before. Nice to be able to use the aloe, which we had forgotten to pack. The stateroom also had a bottle of lotion which I had never seen before. One less thing to pack. Nassau - we used the "Resort Pass" app to buy a day pass at Margaritaville Resort and enjoyed a very nice beach day, with access to their pool, lazy river, towel service, beach chairs, etc. Bimini - we bought the ship excursion to Resort World beach/resort and enjoyed a nice day. They DO NOT provide towels, so be sure to take your own from the ship. If you do not purchase the excursion which includes lunch, there is a nice covered restaurant on site. If you do purchase the lunch option, they have a special area in which you order between a few choices and sit at outdoor tables to eat. A few minor things - the Cruise Director was very rarely seen and his assistant Ana Dulce and the team handled most activities. She and one of her team are not entirely comfortable with the English language. (Two other team members were from other countries, but were fluent and had no problems.) This made for some funny interactions, but unfortunately, it made some of the activities a bit challenging. She attempted to play the "Yes/No" game in which she interviews passengers but it took her so long to communicate each sentence that the game dragged along. The other team member attempted to facilitate the "Alphabet Game" but could not make himself understood, or understand what the players were answering, causing the game to drag on. Just be aware and leave yourself an out if you attend any of the activities run by the cruise staff. The only other negative was a lack of drawer space in our balcony cabin. The ships entertainers were very talented and the Broadway hits show was really exceptional. The entire ship was filled with people going above and beyond and it was a really enjoyable getaway.
