Vegetarian or Vegan on a cruise ship ? Can they accommodate me?

In general, there is a large selection of veggie and vegan options on most cruise lines. Cruise lines are responding to the ever growing demand for travellers with special dietary requests and really go the extra mile to ensure that those requirements are met.

MSC

MSC offer some stunning tailor-made menus that meet your specific needs. You can find freshly prepared vegetarian and vegan dishes in the restaurants and in the buffet. Dietary labels are also clearly displayed on the menus and at the buffet. What’s more; you don’t have to go without traditional Italian pizza! There’s a cheese-less vegan pizza on offer!

Royal Caribbean

There was a time when Royal Caribbean passengers could only consume vegan dishes when specifically requested. However, times have changed! You can now try both vegan and vegetarian dishes in the main dining room and the Windjammer Cafe. If you have special requests, you can also forward them to the kitchen in advance and they will do their upmost to fulfil you specific request.

NCL

As a vegetarian, you have a large selection of vegetarian dishes that are clearly marked in all the restaurants or buffet restaurant on board any NCL ship however, if you are in need of vegan options, we would always advising us at the time of booking to ensure that we have enough time to meet your needs. Its also worth speaking to the restaurant manager on the first day of your cruise.
