An Unforgettable Relaxing Cruise Experience!
From start to finish, this cruise was nothing short of amazing! The staff was absolutely exceptional—professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient. Every interaction felt warm and welcoming, and they truly made me feel pampered and well taken care of. We totally enjoyed our dining experience in Blu. It was exceptionally nice to have a more small , intimate dining space and special attention from the staff. The food was outstanding, offering a wide variety of delicious options that never disappointed. Whether dining in Blu or grabbing a quicker bite in Ocean Cafe, every meal was a delight and we loved the variety. The ship itself was super clean and spotless. There are some signs of wear and tear and our shower started leaking but our room attendant noticed and had it fixed (replaced the shower head) the next day. The ship ran so quiet and smooth. I usually enjoy a bit of rocking (my room was on level 11 totally forward), but we barely felt any motion at all! We really enjoyed the ports Bonaire, Aruba and Grand Cayman. We dived and snorkeled and loved the beaches. The ship was easy to embark and debark even on the one “tender” port. (GC) This cruise seemed to have a much more older crowd this voyage. (We are in our 50s and met and saw a lot of people in their 70s and 80s) so the music earlier in the evening was a little before our time but as the night progressed the music/entertainment was more to our liking. Obviously they have to cater to many different tastes and there was a variety of different activities. Enjoyed seeing the Captain and crew around the ship and appreciate their friendliness and professionalism. They truly set the tone for a wonderful voyage, ensuring that everything ran seamlessly. Overall, this cruise was an incredible experience, leaving me relaxed, refreshed, and already dreaming about my next voyage. Highly recommend!

Great Voyage on an older ship.
The crew of the Eclipse were fantastic. The Captain set the tone for the crew. They were professional, caring and friendly. The food was great. Our waiter Alvin in Luminae catered to our every need. The entire staff in Luminae did a great job. The ship is going into drydock in April and it is needed. The furniture on the balcony was less then what one would expect from Celebrity and so were some of the furnishings. These problem areas should be corrected during drydock. The ports of call were what you would expect from the Caribbean with the typical vendors on the exit from the pier. The entertainment was very good. We did not have children with us, so I can not speak to what types of entertainment was available. Celebrity caters to a more mature group as opposed to Carnival or RCL, so you may want to take that into consideration if you have children cruising with you.

Great Cruise on a Wonderful Ship
The crew on the Eclipse is the best. They are friendly, caring, and helpful. Captain Leo and Cruise Director Pete did a fabulous job! Pete is multitalented and gave some excellent talks. He is also a talented pianist. Captain Leo has a great sense of humor and makes even the morning announcements fun! The ship is more than ready for its trip to dry dock for both interior and exterior refurbishment. Can't wait to be back on her next winter when she is fresh and shiny! We like Aqua Class so we have access to the Persian Garden and to BLU where the food is delicious and the service is personal - the wait staff get to know you and your likes and needs and attend to you personally! It's time for some new entertainment - Topper has outlived its appeal; Amadae wasn't very good; the Broadway review was excellent as were some of the other shows in the evening. Bring back the "barbershop quartets" and some of the music of the 50s and 60s - look around at the audience to see what may appeal to the typical Celebrity cruiser. Bottom line, though, is that this is a great ship!

First-Timer on S Class. Eclipse won us over.
Eclipse has a great vibe, happy staff, and provides great value. This was our first time on S Class and with the past two on E Class, we worried we’d be bored or disappointed, but we’ve been won over. DH and I appreciated the relaxing vibe, impressive live entertainment, and the glass blowing was a highlight. Cabin was conveniently located and had a nice sized balcony. The obstruction from the life boats was minimal and did not distract from our enjoyment. I booked this as a Balcony Guarantee more than 10 months before the cruise and we were assigned the cabin practically right away. The price was barely above that of an inside cabin. This 9 day cruise was a great deal price wise and I guessed because Eclipse is older and due for dry dock soon, but she was in great shape overall, just needs a refresh. Some highlights: Celebrity singer and dancers were very good, with the best soloists I’ve ever experienced on a ship. And, trust me, the shows aren’t my thing. Guitarist was a standout. Service for food and drinks excellent. MDR food very good. First night or two were disorganized for Anytime Dining, but fine after. Better to reserve on day one, perhaps. Murano, great. Would skip Tuscan and don’t order their prime rib. MDR’s was better. Embark/ Disembark easy! Our next cruise is on Equinox, another S Class and we’re hoping for n equally great experience.
