Great experience overall
Our first time cruising was an incredible experience and we owe it to the amazing staff on board! Our waitresses, bartenders, room attendants, etc. All went above and beyond to make sure we were having fun. From Kadia and Niti taking care of our every need during dinner, including making sure I was aware of the vegetarian options, to Kris always making sure we had a new drink before the last was empty, and Maybel's beautiful towel animals (especially the elephant!). The ship is beautiful. Cozumel was a bit too hectic for us so we would recommend booking an excursion that day unless you like bartering but Coco Cay, Roatan and Costa Maya were so lovely. Something blew into my eye at the water show and I had to go to the medical center on the ship and the staff and Dr were great. The only complaint I have (and it's a big one) is that the ship only assigns their Asian staff to be the "washy washy attendant" and has them emphasize their accents. We thought it was an unfortunate coincidence the first night, but quickly realized that it's not... It's 2025; do better!

Great Time!
Had a great time on our Eastern Caribbean cruise last week. The ship was spotless, all of the crew was very friendly, and the food in the Windjammer (where we mostly ate) was varied, plentiful and delicious. Apparently it was a spring break week, as there were a lot of kids on board, but it really wasn't an issue. Our cabin steward was very friendly and provided us with a few extras that we asked for without any issues. The Secret Sands beach excursion on St. Thomas was a lot of fun and highly recommended. The beach was beautiful and serene and very enjoyable. The only negative on the excursion was that in addition to water and sodas that were included, there was also "endless rum punch". Not sure why this was needed on an 8:30 am beach excursion; several men took advantage of this and were very drunk and obnoxiously noisy on the ride back to the ship, which was rather unpleasant. Embarkation and disembarkation were amazingly quick and easy. We were on the ship within 10 minutes of when we arrive at 1 pm, and it took us no more than 5 minutes from when we left our cabin (doing self-assistance) to when we were off the ship. Very impressive considering there were about 6,000 passengers on board. The entertainment was a little mixed. The Voices show was very nice, and the Aqua and ice shows were great as always. However the comedians were not particularly funny, just rather raunchy. Also, the Effectors show was disappointing - lots of very impressive special effects but it was way too loud and the show had little or no plot. The best entertainment on the ship, however, was the pianist, who played and sang great classic rock songs for hours almost every evening. Finally, the Perfect Day at Coco Cay was wonderful as always! So, overall, a great vacation and one that we will likely repeat in the future!

A definite improvement in the Oasis class!
A new generation of the Oasis class and a definite step up. Had a great time and very much enjoyed our time on Wonder! Captain Trym was a hoot and a great face for RCL captains. Says that he innovated the Captain’s Corner and still runs it solo. Works well with the CD Dan Whitney who is still pretty energetic for such an experienced CD. Really liked the upgraded Windjammer cafe, more like the Icon class but with the back section buffets. The seafood buffet was great. We enjoyed the WJ for most dinners rather than the MDR and felt never shortchanged with good choices and great service. The Mason Jar bar was pretty special and had a great selection of higher end spirits. The country band was quite loud but it is otherwise a comfortable venue. The ship is large but pretty spread out. Very much enjoyed the solarium for relaxation. The solarium bistro was convenient for breakfast. The new style elevator bank is good too.

Every day was Wonderful on Wonder of the Seas
We have not sailed on RCCL since 2012, We had a family member who wanted to try cruising. They love pickle ball so that was the criteria to find a ship that offered it. After making a list of possibilities she chose Wonder of the Seas. Thank you RCCL for making this past week absolutely amazing. Where can you take people these days and have it meet and exceed expectations, not once but every single time. The only slight hiccup our assigned table in the MDR was very noisy and 2 of the family members wear hearing aids, and it was just too much for them. The head waiter got us a different table each night. The shows were fabulous, unfortunately due to weather one of the shows, had to be recreated due to the motion of the ship. The ship is beautiful our rooms were quiet. It was Halloween week and that was so much fun. I gave embarkation a low rating because it was a long process. I guess they didn't have that many agents. That is not a RCCL issue but customs issue. My mom was in a scooter and my husband parked the car we all got split up, It took my husband more than 1 hour to make it through the line he had no bags just himself.
