About Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik was founded 1300 years ago by the Romans.
Stari Grad; the well preserved old town is one of a kind for its marble paved squares, tall houses, churches, palaces, convents and museums all built with the same coloured stone as well as its steep cobbled streets.
Dubrovnik plays host to the feast of Sveti Vlaho (Saint Blaise) the cities patron saint on February the 3rd with Mass, festivities and parades which usually last for several days. Dubrovnik’s most important church Saint Blaise’s which was built in the 18th century is home to an amazing treasury with relics of Saint Blaise.
