My Kind of Cruise scores big at the Wave Awards 2024

Last week was an unforgettable moment for all of us at My Kind of Cruise, as we proudly took home a prestigious award for “The Best Technology Innovation” at the Wave Awards 2024 ceremony. This recognition is a celebration of the hard work of all of us, as well as the innovation we are driven by, and the unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional cruise booking experience for all of our users who love cruising as much as we do.

To be recognised at what undoubtedly is one of the most significant events in the cruise industry, is not just an achievement in itself - it is a testament to everything we have worked so hard, and so passionately, to achieve over the past few years.

Our CEO, Sefton Monk, summed up the emotions of the evening amongst everyone on our team perfectly: "Incredible, it’s an amazing achievement. Me and the guys have been working really hard to win one of these awards. The team has been instrumental, the guys have been working day and night for the last five years to make this happen, and it’s a real team effort".

He also added "We strive to be the best at what we do - we want to build and have something that invites a new demographic into cruises, we want to bring the age of cruisers down and we’re striving to help expand the cruise industry. We love the Wave awards, we love you guys, and to be part of this special day feels absolutely incredible".

The Wave Awards are renowned for celebrating the very best in the cruise industry, and being among the winners is a moment we will cherish forever. The event, held every year, is well-known as a gathering of the brightest minds and most innovative companies in the cruise world - and to get the opportunity to stand on that stage and hear our name called out, then be presented with the award for our innovative work and have it acknowledged, was a fantastic, but also humbling, experience. It is also a memory that will inspire us forever, and be even better at what we do for all of you.
