Great first cruise experience

Great first cruise experienceWe 7 families embarked the Carnival Splendour to Nounmea and mystery Island. The trip was more successful and fun than expected. Endless entertainment and food options. Food quality was very decent. Staff are hard-working and friendly. From the Black Pearl restaurant, Dedy and the Indonesian team was the best server ever. Casino was very fun for the dads. Plenty of public seating options where we can organise our own card games. The mums enjoyed the fitness and massage sessions. Albeit a bit expensive, the massage was worth it. Since we have many kids in the party, they can largely entertain themselves, so only occasionally we send them to the kids clubs. The various formal dressing nights were fun. Embarking was ok. Debarking was way faster than we thought. The islands were beautiful and pristine, except for Noumea which didn't offer much of a tropical vibe. We will be back

we had a great experience travelling with carnival splendor in October 2024 for 10 days to vanuatu. I will definitely book this ship again. The ship was very clean, my daughter is 1.5 years old and never wear shoes and her feet was always clean walking bare foot everywhere. Our room and sheet always tidy and clean the ship was refitted and looked great. I was always scared to travel with any cruise lines due to things you see in reviews like bed bugs, cleanliness of ship as I have a 4.5 toddler boy and 1.5 baby girl, didn't want them to get sick but we tried splendor due to my friend's review. The food was also great quality, variety of pastry for kids, pizza was available till late night even when kitchen was closed. We used to get the kids from camp ocean at 9pm, it was so convenient to give them a few slices of fresh pizza and walk them to our room. We ate mainly at gold pearl restaurant, steak, barramundi and pasta were amazing. My kids are fussy eaters, they were happy with chicken nuggets/chips, pizza and burger sandwich. Camp Ocean took great care of my both children. My son is 4.5 years old, and he was asking me every day to go back to camp Ocean to play. Entertainment was amazing, there was so many activities, dancing custom parties in level 9 lido. There was a team of 3 men who were running the show. They were so funny and definitely boost the whole ship energy. We didn't get priority for embarking splendor; it was pretty smooth process even with my 1.5-year-old girl. It took us about 35 minutes. Getting off the ship was so fast and easier. We packed all our luggage a night before and basically in the morning we got off the ship in 25 minutes.

Carival ships for everyone .

Genuine friendliness from all the crew. Not many sightings of officers. Ship is clean. Brightly decorated, this time in Halloween theme. Food options are plentiful, varied and delicious. Daily activities fun. Although this is a family fun ship, I didnt feel overrun by youth. Theatre entertainment at night could be improved onboarding upon by adding production shows. Comedians in bars were fun and tasteful. Adult only pool at aft was wonderful. Centre pools were full of children., loud music and noise. Casino is large. Enough drink waiters. Drink packages pricey. Bar prices average. Inside cabin bigger than normal. Put the TV on ship Cam for weather view. . My choice to miss the fresh air of a balcony, but I was only a lift away from the many open decks. Ship is not huge so easy to Navigate and get around. Carnival is on par with Princess. Better than P&O or MSC.. I was impressed by the cruise experience and would book again.
