Awesome 5 day cruise
We had a really nice Balcony on the 12th floor and room steward kept spotless. So many complaints on the ship but it is an older ship. Maybe the food in MDR wasn’t Disney quality but there is always the buffet with delicious pizza! You can find something to eat. For those that said there was no entertainment, There were nightly shows Great ABBA show, white night, party, sunshine, party, and music throughout the boat, even a Latin band. So if you’re gonna complain about one thing, it might be the Food quality sometimes but I promise you you will have a great time on the ship, especially since it’s going into dry dock and coming back later this year and going to Panama and Colombia!! We are looking forward to coming back in Feb 2026 to do the 10 day there! I love this ship and will be back.

Msc Davina: Dream cruise from start to finish!
I had the pleasure of taking my very first cruise aboard the MSC Divina from February 19th to the 24th, and I can honestly say it exceeded all my expectations! From start to finish, everything was absolutely incredible. The food was exceptional, with a variety of dishes that were always fresh and delicious. A special mention goes to the Black Crab Dining Room, where we had the same amazing team every night. Waiters Prajnesk Hegde and Kamal Kashyap made our dining experience unforgettable. By the second night, they knew exactly what I enjoyed, and I was always greeted with a cup of cappuccino alongside a glass of red wine — such a thoughtful touch! The management staff in the Black Crab Dining Room were sensational as well. They made sure we were well taken care of every night, always checking in to ask if we needed anything else. The entertainment was also top-notch. After dinner, we would head to the Golden Jazz Bar to enjoy the incredible band from Argentina. Their performance was simply unforgettable. I also want to highlight the service provided by Chandee Lee, our waitress in the bar. She was always attentive and knew exactly what everyone in our party wanted to drink, taking great care of us throughout the night. There was never a dull moment on board, with activities and entertainment available from morning until night. The musicians and games kept us entertained and engaged every day. The ship itself was breathtakingly beautiful — much more than I anticipated. Another standout feature was how organized the boarding and disembarking process was. Getting on and off the ship was a breeze. The staff was stationed throughout the ship, guiding us in the right direction for both boarding and exiting. It felt seamless, and we were on and off the ship in no time. I also want to mention that the pricing was fantastic for the value we received. The only small suggestion I’d make is to have more bar staff around the pool area to serve drinks while we relax in the sunshine. All in all, I would rate this cruise a solid 10/10. It was my first cruise experience, and it definitely won’t be my last. In fact, we were so impressed that we’ve already booked another cruise on the MSC Meraviglia for November 2025!

Lovely trip and great service on the Divina
We just came back from a 4 night cruise in the Bahamas on MSC Divina and while I was hesitant to book with them after seeing so many reviews, my wife and I decided to take a last minute trip. The price could not be beat and I figured it was the best time to try it for ourselves. As with everything else in life, I feel like you have to manage your expectations to what you pay for when you book a trip. Just like I wouldn't expect a 5-star experience in a 3-star resort, I went in this cruise expecting a 3-4 stars sailing as it's in line with the price I paid. I am happy to say that I rather than a 3-star experience, I got a 4.5 stars and I have not cruised before where I got so much value for my money. The ship is in great condition, but it's also 13 years old. Are there scratches on some furniture? yes. Was there a drawer front broken in my cabin, yes. Still, I don't see how that has such a negative impact on anyone's trip. I didn't spend my time in my cabin looking at the broken drawer front. I have sailed on other older ships with just the same amount of visual reminders of their age and yet they still cost twice the price. Matter of fact, outside of the room, the ship is in such great condition that it's hard to believe she's 13 years old. Dirty windows? Yes, some of them were, but I also saw some crew cleaning them so they must be on rotation. This was also our first time choosing an interior cabin and we had no problems with it whatsoever. It was spacious enough, had all the storage we could ask for and even though it was in the front of the ship, it was easily accessible. The ship has an amazing atrium that goes all the way up from deck 5, which is something you don't see much anymore. So many bars with different vibes and colors, we never looked for a spot to sit and have a drink while listening to live music. Speaking of music, we absolutely loved the onboard entertainment. There was always some music in one spot on the ship during the evening and the pianists were incredibly talented. Food wise, the buffet was really good, lots of fruits and vegetables, cold cuts, cheese choice and delicious pizzas. Much less fried food choices than other ships I've been on and that might be why some people knock it down. I found it much easier to eat healthy on this ship than others I've been on. Mains dining room would probably be the weakest spot for food. Not that it was bad at all, it was just an honest good meal. The chicken was cooked to perfection but it lacked taste a bit. Would that be enough for me to never go back on the ship, absolutely not. Like I said, I wasn't expecting a gourmet meal and I got served a really good dinner. We tried both specialty restaurants and they were both amazing. So much so that we vent went back for an extra lunch at one of them. And don't get me started on pricing at the restaurants... It was so cheap compared to what I've experienced on other ships, it was the cherry on top. I know some people will complain about the lack of dining options but once again, this is an older ship and they all tend to have less options. Besides, MSC doesn't hide the facts about dining options, they are all listed on the website. People need to do their research before booking something and then complain about something that they could have found out long before. Service was spot on, everyone was always smiling and the only thing that I can say is that when sitting in a bar, table service was a bit slower than other cruise lines I've experienced. That being said, I never had to wait more than 3 minutes for a drink when getting up to a bar so I can just get my butt out of my chair and come back with a couple of drinks. I also paid half the price I would have paid for a similar cruise with another line so I'll gladly get my own drinks. Also of note, their private island Ocean Cay Marine Reserve is worth the trip on it's own. We were supposed to be spending two days there and ended up with just one day. Disappointing? Yes, but itinerary changes are part of any cruise you take. Very natural island, lots of pathways, clear water, sand and sun. Also all the services you could want. We didn't visit the buffet on the island since they have food trucks all over the place and we opted for that instead. Love the idea and the execution. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and everyone lives their experience differently. As I stated at the start, it's all about expectations. I have cruised with much more luxurious lines in the past and I still absolutely loved my 4 nights on the Divina. Would I go back on an MSC cruise? Yes, tomorrow morning if I could. But more realistically, we will book something in a few months and MSC will definitely be one of our front runner.
