Fantasic ship!
Been thoroughly looking forward to this cruise and it didn't let us down. The ship is truly amazing. It's very big but at no point did you feel like you would get lost. So many choices for drinks and very little waiting time. The crew were lovely and always happy to help. The main dining room had great choices of food, as did the buffet and the pizza and burgers restaurant. We tried hola tacos and butchers cut and both were excellent. Hola was very good value but butchers cut was a little on the expensive side. The pools were lovely and they were heated which made them very appealing. There was amble seating inside and outside. Considering the ship was fully booked it didn't feel it. Theatre shows were brilliant, regular and varied. The spa was terrific would absolutely recommend. We had to miss a port - malta due to bad weather. Instead we went to mallorca which was a lovely addition. Would recommend missed port insurance to anyone going on a ship this size. We had a Aurea balcony with drinks package. The room was lovely, room 12156. No issues except the bathroom was a tad small. Drinks package is a must as they can become very expensive without. £8 for a beer! Overall, great ship!

Europa-Why the negative reviews? We loved it!
We are a family of seasoned cruisers. As Americans, we were a little concerned going into this trip as the reviews we’d read weren’t good. I’m not sure what ship those folks were on because we had a fabulous time. We sailed Aurea experience for reference which included drinks up to $9. The ship was fully booked but did not feel crowded to us. Buffet was the only time it could get really busy. All the restaurants and bars consistently had people in them which was good to see because reviews had said otherwise. The promenade was lovely and the outdoor promenade (similar to Royal’s boardwalk) was great. Aside from one very rocky night which resulted in them completely changing course and taking a sea day to Mallorca in lieu of heading to Malta, temps and weather were good. Ate at two specialty restaurants which we enjoyed. Found vegan options everywhere! Even in the ice cream shop. Lots of holiday decorations, tons of activities and a Christmas show. Talent was great and we enjoyed having three different venues to choose from with three different shows. Our tween/teens made fast friends and hung in the teen club all week. Kuddos to Isa for forcing them all to introduce and interact! Two full arcades plus a secret one above the bumper cars! Honestly, so confused where the negative reviews are coming from! We got on and off in Barcelona. Both were fast and organized for us!

Amazing , want to get back on!
Pros: Amazing speciality restaurants Very good standard restaurant Excellent buffet Secret Bar! OMG AMAZING array of bars Excellent cocktails Very attentive staff Very clean Amazing stops - Genoa and Sicily especially Most things included with premium plus Excellent housekeeping Excellent Entertainment - wish I had seen more Well organised booking systems Luxurious Cons: Pools and buffet area sometimes crowded and noisy Unless you are looking for a quiet, adult only, very relaxed cruise, you can’t really go wrong here. Everything about this ship was luxurious and fun. There’s something for absolutely everybody. Don’t miss Teppanyaki, Sushi bar or the secret bar. Also the champagne lounge. Although a busy boat, quiet areas can be sought out all over the ship from the tea room to the champagne bar. I could talk all day about this ship! If you want to extend your trip - stay in Taormina and pick the ship up in Sicily - such a beautiful place x Don’t listen to bad reviews!
