First, please note many of these reviews pertain to The Glory before it was positioned at Port Canaveral. This was my second sailing on the Glory and it exceeded expectations just like my first. We are seasoned Carnival cruisers. The Glory was a perfect fit for us as we did not sail with children and typically are just looking to enjoy the sunshine and be entertained in the evenings. The food on board was on par with normal offerings on Carnival ships. We never had to wait excessive amounts of time to eat or be served. We enjoyed Guys Burgers, Blue Iguana, the main lido deck dining area and the Platinum dining room. Food and drink service at the Platinum dining room was prompt and friendly, thank you Marcos and wait staff. We upgraded our experience in this sailing by reserving a grand suite. It was extremely spacious! Highly recommend!

Highly Redeemed, Greatly Esteemed

The first day was good until I learned that two family members did not have a room due to flooding on the last cruise. The family was hurt, and I began praying. The evening meal 5/14 was great with great service. We needed space for sixteen at, and our family reunion was told we would have two tables the next day with eight seats at each table. Unfortunately, July 16th was a rough day. We had an excursion to World Resorts at Bimini. It was a very sad excursion. We were never given a wristband when we gave staff oir excursion tickets. We were told we were made to sign a sheet as a duplicate. Prayerfully, their error does not cost us. We received welcome drink tickets, only to be told that the bartenders were incapable of making a non alcoholic drink. We came next for lunch only to find that fish and chips were fish sticks and potato chips. Finally, back at dinner only to find that the two tables which allowed us to communicate was not available to us and we could only have four table spread out across nearly 75 feet in length spread out over four tables. I felt as if I had to scream to speak with family members all the way on the other end. It was as if I was in the projects on the 10th floor speaking to someone outside downstairs, I am praying that the manager in the Platinum Restaurant is better able to better serve us tomorrow. He has stated he will better accommodate our family tomorrow. I really wanted to relax and enjoy family that I had not seen in years. I will surely keep you posted. Today's excursion was the Top 10 of Nassau. What a great guide and a rather full and fulfilling trip. We benefitted from a great tour guide, Joe, who was knowledgeable, congenial, and able to maintain everyone's attention. Upon return to the ship we stopped by Guy's Burger and the smile broadened. Great tasting non-preformed burgers in very short order. At dinner in the Golden dining room was wonderful with top notch servers Alexander with ( Magic tricks and entertaing riddles. Mark was proficient and helpful when ordering. We ventured to Lido on 9 extreme aft where the whirlpool and pool had adults only. The entertainment was also great listened to Carribean Soul. I was impressed with how the sounds where internalized by the artist. My fiancé went shopping and loved a Pandora bracelet with charms. The last day at the Golden Dining area was an extention of a wonderful experience. All the staff joined together to entertain us and keep us smiling Edwin from night one dining and Alexander from nights three and four were truly magnificent. Denarkation was a breeze with the online experience. I was really disjointed after early hiccups. I was pleasantly thrilled with the remainder of the cruise as I experienced fun with my fiancé and a very fun loving McGuire family. Let me give them a 10 out of 10. Blessings and Peace

You get more than what you actually pay!

For my very 1st cruise i had the best experience ever! Cam was just an awesome cruise director! The band that played in the lobby every night was spectacular!!!!!!! They had 80's, 90's night, motown night and so much more. We dined in the platinum restaurant, the food was outstanding (and i'm a food critic) the staff was just wonderful. if you see a photographer name: pious make sure you get your pictures also taken by him. My pictures came out just beautiful that i ordered $300 in pictures which was a lot of pictures i received.
