Everything was 10/10.
The service we received from the bar from Mlungisi Nzobe and Thandeka Dlamini was super excellent very professional. They both deserve a Bells. Any bar they worked from the ship, they serve us with great customer service. The food was nice. The dinner preparations was always on point. I like and appreciate how they handle my wife's surprise birthday. I also appreciate how they conduct their safety on the first day. Everything was on a higher level. We felt like we were on another planet. If you haven't done your msc cruise kindly try this one , value for money. The cleanest inside was perfect. We enjoyed each and every moment on the entire days and nights. I recommend to everyone. The daily entertainments was well organized. The was no time to sleep. We never had such experience before. We never arrived at Pomene due to weather conditions but we never felt that disappointment.

Excellent!
We have recently returned from a great 7 Night Med Cruise on ‘MSC Musica’ for our first ever Cruise. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience! While technically an ‘older’ MSC ship - it was still plush, grand - and spotlessly clean. Its age & medium to large size (rather than the new Mega Ships) also meant a more traditional yet informal atmosphere (without gimmicks like water slides, rides & the subsequent army of kids) which suited us. Most passengers were Italian, Spanish & French (with us being some of the only Brits onboard) which provided a welcome cosmopolitan atmosphere. We booked the Aurea Package with 2 balcony cabins & full drinks package - which all worked really well. The cabins were excellent, modern, clean & attentively serviced by Steward George (Deck 10) who was most friendly & helpful. We had anytime dining with Aurea - and were assigned to the ‘Belle Epoque’ A La Carte Restaurant. The restaurant was plush, the food varied every day, was delicious and waiting staff were most attentive & friendly. Special mention to Joseph our waiter who was outstanding & also to Gabby the Restaurant Manager - who looked out for us & was also most helpful & attentive. The main Buffet Breakfast & Lunch restaurants were very good - with plentiful & varied offerings every day. Truly something for everyone! The fresh Italian pizzas were particularly good. Breakfast can be pretty busy & finding a table can be difficult. The evening shows were also varied & of a high standard - in the impressive plush Theatre! The Aurea package gave us access to an exclusive sun deck at the front of the ship - with its own Bar - which was a welcome quiet sanctuary with plenty of sun beds & space - away from the far busier/noisier main sun deck & Bars below us. I would definitely recommend this experience! Special thank you to Brendo on the Pool Staff who was most friendly and helpful here. There were plenty of entertainment options in the evening in the numerous Bars - from Piano players, singers, karaoke, discos etc plus a Casino. Majority of the staff were friendly & helpful. Passengers embark & disembark at every port (not that you’d notice) which I believe is different to other cruises - but this didn’t bother us at all. All in all a most enjoyable first Cruise experience with MSC - especially for the money. Would definitely use MSC again & recommend!

Cheap and cheerful
We chose this cruise because of the eastern Mediterranean itinerary. It doesn't take much research to realise that MSC is good value for money. Excursions were good value for money too and we had great tour guides in Israel, Cyprus and Turkey. We had a deal that included a drinks package which was fantastic. There were so many places to get a drink. You could definitely avoid the crowds on this cruise too by being strategic with where you went and when (eg. Go to the pool bars if it's raining, windy, or at night before they shut at 10pm). The staff are very hard working, kind, and make an effort and unfortunately I don't think the guests thank them enough for it. The rooms have plenty of storage space. Beds were comfortable. Housekeeping were very efficient and friendly. We had an interior room and unfortunately someone must have been breaking the rules and smoking in their room because several times we came back to the smell of smoke wafting through out air ducting system (doesn't surprise me with some of the rude guests). If you can afford a room with a balcony this would be resolved. I would definitely travel again with MSC and the Musica is an oldie but a goodie.
