Caribbean Princess Poem Review
Gather around travelers, we must let you know, ‘Bout the Caribbean princess we sure hope you will go! The whole crew is spectacular, they work all the while. They’re professional, efficient and find time for a smile. Their showroom productions are top notch and clever. Cruise the Caribbean princess and you’ll thank us forever. And the food, it’s exotic….wear your fat pants to dine, ‘Cause you’ll surely see a growth in your little waistline. The servers stand tall and they all dress so fine. They rush their huge trays with your food and your wine. The head waiter wears white, he is a great oversee-er. We especially loved two servers…Sylvia and Jea. The Lotus Spa, great experience, don’t forget the salon. They work to make you feel gorgeous from dusk until dawn. Bring your medical scooter if your feeling real cruisy, If you do please share it with a wild-thing named “Uzzi”. She is a real special darling as all the staff are. If you walk up to reception, you’ll meet “The Jamican Star”. She could be the daughter of Bob Marley’s wife. Sweet Rita will show you the time of your life. And Riza, an angel who won’t let you down. She’ll send your hubby a treat that will remove any frown. She works in the spa, takes such good care of you. We think Wynning, from the casino, sent the gift too. There are sweet girls like Carlin who work hard, never stop. They bring towels for your shower, dry the floor with a mop. And If you opt for a haircut, don’t cover it with a hat. Tonya will grab it off your head… just like that ! We can’t forget the photo taker, though we don’t know her name, We call her “Sweet Dimples” just the same. Have your nails done with Tasha and a pedi on your toes. Be sure to reserve early for nail sparkles and glows. If you need a real pro for a Lotus massage, Just hook up with Rhea for some Oooohs and some Aaaahs. Her hands are like magic, you will leave feeling swell. You’ll relax to the sounds of her small Chakra bells. Book a haircut with Uzzi if you need a fresh lift. She is an expert who snips well, she sure has the gift. Visit Lotus Spa, we know you’ll surely be grateful. They do cuts, massages, nails, eyes and facials. Cabin Stewards are so professional and gracious as they toil. They work day and night to keep your room free from soil. Steady Eddy and his backup, precious Danelyn, Two perfect cabin stewards day out and day in. The Grand Casino is exciting where you could make a friend. It’s fun betting money and trying to win. The crew keeps you hydrated and happy non-stop. They serve drinks day and night…how do they not drop? You can justify losses by a future cruise you could get. While they keep you entertained with the bucks that you bet. You’ll meet “WON the Wonderful” and Ferdie, so cute. We think they both must get tired of wearing a suit. They sure are sharp dressers, all the staff reek of class. And if you need assistance they take care of you fast. We hope you’ll go meet them at their Casino so GRAND. Be sure to include that in your Princess cruise plan. If you go to guest services you’ll be lucky to meet A great guy named Sasha, he’s handsome and sweet. He’ll take care of you quickly if you write a poem or review. Next, he’ll send you to Shyam to type it for you. Right near Shyam’s station we were happy to meet A crew member named Leroy…he was quick on his feet. He slipped right on up to watch Shyam typing. His ears perked up as he heard me reciting. We could see he worked hard, he loved to sing and dance. We’re so glad that we met him, wouldn’t have missed the chance. We did the electric slide and sang “Bad Leroy Brown”. But Leroy’s not Bad, he’s one of the best guys around. Not a thing that we’ve told you has been said in jest. We believe Caribbean Princess is the absolute BEST. We’ll leave you with an offer much better than a kiss. Be sure to book this Princess on your Life’s Bucket List. Maddiesea & Toby

A Solid 5
A little background, we are seasoned cruisers in our 60's that have cruised every year since 2009, our son and daughter were 7 and 8 at the time. Since they are young adults now, my husband and I are cruising mostly solo. We have cruised mostly in the Caribbean and Bermuda and last year Alaska. 2 years ago we did our first Med Cruise and are looking forward to many more. We have cruised on NCL, Costa, Celebrity and Royal. We booked this cruise for two reasons. First to escape this dreadfully cold, dark and snowy Winter, second to try a different cruise line. We didn't care where it was going, just that the weather hopefully would be warmer and sunnier then here at home. Now that we are cruising without young kids, we prefer smaller ships without all the bells and whistles we don't use. The Caribbean Princess fit that criteria perfectly for us. We both agreed that this was a solid 5 star experience for us. Was it without issue here and there? No, however, it was addressed immediately and to our satisfaction. I do not believe getting into the details would help anyone make a decision either way. I will just say this, report it, they will respond to fix it. Caribbean Princess was the very best Embarkation, Disembarkation process we have ever experienced. The Medallions are so much better than cards. I didn't lose it once! The App worked flawlessly for us. I must say I felt bad for the waitstaff on deck trying to locate people with their orders. We had no issue getting our drinks delivered when ordered on the app. I was deliberate to keep watch and when I saw our order on the tray they were carrying, I would wave to get their attention to where we were sitting. They were most appreciative. Food was consistently very good, in every venue we indulged. The VERY BEST Hot Dogs at Sea!! One disappointment I often have on cruises are the desserts. Not on this cruise, every one I tried was worth eating, EVERY ONE! We had a Reserve Collection Mini Suite Dolphin Deck, LOVED IT! Is the BR dated? Yup. After the initial entry, we didn't notice. We booked Reserved Collection for one reason, to show up for dinner when we wanted to with no wait. Priceless! We did not take any excursions. we just got off in ports and walked around and back to ship to enjoy all she has to offer. So there you have it. We would definitely sail her again, and encourage you to book her and see for yourself.

Great Christmas/Holiday Cruise
This was our second time on the CP. And a first time Christmas cruise!!! Christmas Eve was formal night and it was spectacular! Everyone dressed in the holiday best, long lines at the photographers but well worth it. The ship was beautifully festive. We had carols in the atrium with "SNOW"!!!! Though we ended up not going to Turks/Caicos due to windy conditions, our alternative port was Amber Cove and it did not disappoint. We opted not to do any excursions and just disembarked and walked the shops and area. There is a pool and restaurant available to cruisers and definitely take advantage of that. (PS It was nice to seem some of our crew off and enjoying time!) We dined at Sabattinis Christmas Day and again, an exceptional and delicious experience. Mostly we ate in the main dining room and our waitstaff was incredibly personable and engaging. We found an excellent pizza place near the main pool - highly recommend!! Our package included two specialty desserts/per person/per day and got to enjoy that ONCE! The dessert was definitely decadent. Entertainment was enjoyable especially the crew/staff rendition of 12 Days of Christmas. Embarkation was actually quite smooth though we didn't see the line for those that had done all their pre-boarding paperwork; none the less, from the time we parked to our cabin was about 40 minutes. We had the 11AM embarkation which was the first. Disembarkation again was quite smooth. We were walk on/offs so from cabin to car was about 30 minutes. The buffet was noisy and busy and we spent a few minutes here and there looking for a table but it was a nuisance; go in expecting that everyone is there and just be patient. We preferred the back end adults pool area if only for the quiet!!! We did get to watch many of the activities and they were all very much fun. The craft activities were well organized and engaging. Got to do a quilling class which I never did before!!! We liked the idea of having the main dining room available for quiet space when not in dining session. Our group enjoyed table games there (which we got from the library). We found the ship to be very clean and well organized. There was always a crew member about if we had questions. And we often ran into our dinner wait staff doing other jobs who would always stop for a quick hello!!!! PSA!!! Tip the staff and tip them well!!! All in all a wonderful cruise though I was missing Christmas at home. Probably would do it again.
