A first look at NCL's new ship - the Norwegian Aqua

NCL's brand new ship, the Norwegian Aqua, set sail this week for the first time - find out all about it's exclusive features below!

Aqua Slidecoaster:

One of the most talked about features of the Norwegian Aqua is the Aqua Slidecoaster, the world's first hybrid rollercoaster and water slide at sea. If you're looking for a wild ride, look no further than this two-person experience that'll give you a holiday to remember!

Infinity Pools:

Watch the world go by in luxury style in the Norwegian Aqua's new Infinity Beach. Located on both sides of the ship, these stunning new infinity pools offer total tranquility. If you don't fancy a dip in the pool, there's also a selection of chaise beds where you can relax, soak up the sun and maybe even order a cocktail or two...!

Oh, and if you wanted something a bit more bubbly, the ship also has a selection of infinity hot tubs overlooking the sea.

Culinary Adventures:

Featuring 17 restaurants and 18 bars and lounges, and even a Starbucks, NCL have taken culinary bliss to the next level on the Norwegian Aqua. Whether you want to enjoy a steakhouse or the brand's first plant-based restaurant Planterie, there's such a wide selection of world class food that you won't know where to start! One of the most talked about new spots is Sukothai, NCL's first Thai specialty restaurant.

Glow Court:

Welcome to Glow Court - Norwegian Aqua's brand new high-tech immersive sports floor, featuring a variety of fun new games for all the family. At night, it transforms into a vibrant night club! If you're a fan of games, make sure to check out the ship's Aqua Game Zone, featuring a bowling alley, arcade games and more.

The Drop:

For the more adventurous guest, NCL have introduced "The Drop", a 10-story slide down the side of the ship that'll give you the ride of your life. Hold on tight!

Thermal Suite:

Salt rooms, steam rooms, ice rooms, charcoal saunas and even the world's first clay sauna at sea... and don't forget a two-story stunning waterfall to top it all off! Welcome to the Norwegian Aqua's new Thermal Suite, where you can relax in style and restore both your body and mind.

Brand New Entertainment Experiences:

With a wide variety of entertainment options, one of the stand-out newcomers is 'Revolution: A Celebration Of Prince', a new official immersive concert-like experience featuring music icon Prince's chart-topping hits. It's not to be missed!
