Paradise is Something Special!
The crew on board the Paradise are some of the best we've cruised with, and the atmosphere is unlike any other cruise line. Truly welcoming and lighthearted. The Paradise recently got some exciting new updates. They introduced enhancements to their complimentary dining options in both the Port of Indecision buffet and "Fins", the main dining room. Every dish we had felt elevated from past sailings in terms of both flavor and presentation. The much beloved pizza outlet on board, Frank and Lola's, was moved to inside the buffet area and is now complimentary for every guest to enjoy! In its place a brand new Sushi restaurant called "Far Side Sushi" is serving up so much more than just sushi and doing it all with beautiful presentation. Last on our list of Must Dos but certainly not least is a stop at "Hemisphere Dancer Craft Spirits". This reimagined theater bar and the absolute professionals behind it are putting together some remarkably unique cocktails, on or off the menu, with flare!

discovery of the year, discovery of a new live
Wonderful experience! Really good team and service. Unfortunately the Chylian excursion wasn't that good, but excursions in Peru was really nice. Really good that the number of passengers doesn't exceed 100 and the ship wasnt overcrowded. It was a fist cruise experience for us but we really liked it. The most expressive side thing was the Moai statue from the Island of Ista in Lesserena. The geoglyphs in Arica was really exiting. The city of Arequipa with the small copy of Madrid. The flight over the Nazca Lines. According to our observations the Chile is not that touristic place but Peru is. The cruise ship itself is beyond praise. Excellent service crew headed by an experienced captain. Exceptional service on board the ship, including amenities, cabin comfort and stewards' care. Very tasty breakfasts, lunches. And of course dinners, which we looked forward to every evening! As a result, we have already planned a new cruise on board the Swan Hellenic.

Great time and Fun
I read some of these reviews and wonder what planet some people are on, or what they expect. Along with another couple we have just done the Canary Itsland cruise. Staff unbelievable, ship clean and tidy, shows the best I have seen on any cruise, and I have done a lot. Food great. With regards to a previous comment about no fruit, I suggest you go to spec savers! and it was always available. Also the comment about Butlins at sea, stupid stupid stupid! You can make a cruise with Marella whatever you want it to be, we chose to go to our waiter service meals presentable and treat it as a sense of occasion. What Marella offer is a choice, that there is not this stuffiness and tuxedo,s/ball gowns every night! for the vast majority it works, probably the reason Marella cruises are the fastest growing in the cruising market at the moment! (No me guessing but look it up). Also I have met many many people on these cruises who have done Cunard/Royal Caribean/Holland America, who all say the same Marella offer the best value for money, all inclusive as standard without having to pay ridiculous bar bills at the end of your cruise! It one price and that is it! Sorry but if you don't like it go elsewhere! For our party we have no issues!
