First time cruisers on Carnival; we will return!
This was our first time on Carnival. We found the check-in process to be extremely efficient out of Tampa and once boarded, no pushing liquor packages or anything. We were directed immediately to our muster station, so got that over withright away, cabin was spotless. Everything was clean neat and even though the cruise was full, it never seemed crowded. We weren’t crazy about the dining room. They had a lot of rules about no baseball caps and Jean cut offs and we saw a lot of that in the dining room! There were no table cloths and service was slow, but food was very good and presented well. The ship is quite environmentally aware of Waste and I was pleased to see that they did not use a lot of paper napkins and plasticware and single use plastic cups.. most people don’t care about that but I did. We never met our room steward , but the room was spotless every day. No ice in the rooms no bucket filling of ice at all that doesn’t really matter anyway. We thought the food was good. There were many many excursions to choose from and everything was available until 24 hours ahead of time and then we saw some sold out, but the excursions that we took were affordable and very well done and we had many many choices! I’ve been on some cruise lines that excursions are sold out five months ahead of time, not carnival’s. We did a seven day cruise of Western Caribbean and had a balcony room. The ports were fine, but you need to do excursions as the ports don’t offer anything but cheesy shopping and junky souvenir shops. I would choose carnival again for it’s exceptional value!

Fantastic Experience on Carnival Legend!
We absolutely loved the Legend! Nice comfortable room, great room attendant (Apollo), good food and amazing entertainment!! There never seemed to be any line ups for anything, even the comedy shows! (Ship was sold out too). Best singers on board we have ever seen. Augusta Ray the soloist, duo’s “Unity” (Janelle and Mark) and other duo Sarah and Jesse, the violin trio and the house band Mash Up were all simply incredible. Frogfest on the final night is not to be missed as these people gather in one place to put on an amazing performance! We had a cool room catagory, an inside stateroom that had a double doorway window that looked out at a lifeboat. Lots of natural light! Jake the cruise director was fantiastic! We loved everything about this quiet ship. Only disappointment was having to skip Dublin due to weather. Can’t wait to sail again on Legend!

FABULOUS
This was our first cruise and it was perfect! We had so much fun. We did everything available to us and will go as soon as possible! The entertainment was so good. The cruise director Lia was amazing. Yhe shopping lady Noelle was awesome. I usually do not like comedians but we went to every show. During Mandy's show I was crying from laughing so hard. We went to the Rock show two times we loved it so much. I could have packed a little better ( it was difficult due to temperature changes from place to place. It is good to know there are laundry services right on the ship. I had made an appointment in the salon but they had to reschedule my time and the new one would not work for me so I did not get your try it out. We met some many great people. Fabulous Time celebrating our 38th anniversary!
