As soon as you board the ship you understand that Virgin Voyages is head and shoulders above all the other cruise lines! Virgin is made for adults only for those of us that do not wish to cruise with anyone under the age of 18 yrs. of age. As soon as you step aboard one is greeted by the very friendly and energetic crew! They welcome you warmly and excitedly! Virgin has a party like disembarkation and the champagne flows as you get underway! It is always fun on these cruises! We have taken three so far and we even put a deposit down on our next cruise which we plan on taking in November aboard the Brilliant Lady that will be taking her maiden voyage in September! The Dining is INCREDIBLE!! All of the restaurants are included in the price you pay and the food is EXCELLENT at each restaurant at which we have eaten! Since we have taken three cruises so far we have been able to try each restaurant the ships offer! The service is BEYOND compare! The room stewards are always very friendly an attentive! The crew at Sailor Services are so friendly and professional and knowledgeable. The Spa is So very luxurious and relaxing! We HIGHLY recommend the Thermal Package and or the couples package called "Splash of Romance"! If you can't get the Splash of Romance you can purchase individual days or multiple days in the spa to take advantage of the steam room that always has a hint of eucalyptus, then the salt room helps you relax; then on to the mudroom where you will rub mud all over yourself and relax in the steamy mud room after which you will rinse yourself off and can take in the sauna before going into the cold plunge pool before going into the relaxation pool and finally the hot tub! AHHH!! We always book the Sea Terrace or Sea Terrace XL and enjoy the hammock on the terrace! That's right! I said Hammock on the Terrace!! The entertainment is top quality with exciting performers and breathtaking shows! I just can't say enough about Virgin Voyages!! We ABSOLUTELY LOVE Virgin and we will NOT sail another Cruise Line! Virgin Voyages MUST be experienced! I could write a million words and it would not do justice to the quality of the crew, food, entertainment and over all facilities aboard any of the luxurious ladies of Virgin Voyages! Best cruise line I’ve ever been on.

This was hands down the best cruise I’ve ever been on. I sailed with a handful of various others and just figured that cruising wasn’t my thing and I’d never go on another. After some time I was convinced to try Virgin and I was not disappointed. From the room to the service to the food everything was practically spot on. I’m already in the process of booking my next voyage. I don’t have many critiques other than a couple of the restaurants on board were just okay such as Gunbae. While Korean BBQ is fun it’s always iffy when you are sat with strangers and the food just wasn’t all that great. My only other “complaint” was that the view from Richard’s Rooftop was blocked by the glass being painted which took away from what would otherwise be breathtaking views. With that being said, I have been gathering friends to sail again next year.

First Time Virgin Cruisers

My wife and I just got back from our first Virgin cruise and I must say we had a very nice time aboard the Scarlet Lady. We had previously cruised on other cruise lines and we wanted to give Virgin a try since they have no kids on board. The quality of food on the ship was very good especially Pink Agave which was our favorite. The Wake was also very good for dinner and we did brunch there as well (twice). The entertainment was very good and we spent more than a few nights at On The Rocks listening to the singers they had on board. The Blues singer was our favorite. We had a lot of laughs at Bingo with the Diva which was very popular with the other cruisers on board as well. The pool party at Bimini was a lot of fun with the cast members providing the entertainment. My wife and I enjoyed our first time experience so much with Virgin that we already booked a cruise to Greece in 2026.
