Carnival Radiance
The warmth of being together — it’s just so nice, right? It fact, it inspired us to create Carnival Radiance, to delight folks like you and your closest travel buds. And wouldn’t you believe it, Carnival Radiance makes it all happen with a little help from some friends…For starters, can we just say how excited we are to be tipping things off with the culinary influence of Shaq? This man knows his fried chicken, and in case you have any doubt, every meal we serve at Big Chicken puts the proof on your plate. Still on the taste tip, there’s two delicious spots on Carnival Radiance from Mr. Fieri himself: Guy’s Burger Joint and Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse. We’re not going to apologise for all the bragging about our famous friends. Not when there’s so much onboard fun for kids courtesy of Dr. Seuss® favourites like The Cat in the Hat… who you’ll meet! And with all the flavour from our own homegrown RedFrog and BlueIguana spots — like tacos, pub grub and great drinks — you’ll be thrilled to get acquainted with such colourful creatures. (And the cuddly ones at Build-A-Bear Workshop® At Sea!)Big names aren’t all there is to know about Carnival Radiance. There’s amazing entertainment up on stage at Playlist Productions™, so many chances to be a champion at SportSquare™ featuring SkyCourse™, and potentially unlimited relaxation potential for grown-ups at Serenity™ Adult-Only Retreat. Plus the adults have plenty of spots for a drink, like the fan-favourite Alchemy Bar™ and Heroes Tribute™ Bar, which refreshes everyone while paying tribute to men and women of the military. For the kids, don’t worry — there’s three youth spaces where you can hang out with others your age, plus we’ve got real Zumbini™ classes for the even-littler ones. But since we’re talking together-time, your whole bunch will never run out of stuff to do on Carnival Radiance! Let’s highlight some of the togetherest: Dive-In Movies™ screens flicks everybody loves poolside, while at mini-golf you’re always guaranteed to sink a hole-in-some… and really, who doesn’t love select family-friendly comedy shows at Punchliner™ Comedy Club? We’re so excited about Carnival Radiance bringing all this fun together… emphasis on the “together.” (And the fun!) So come join us!

You will enjoy every moment!
My husband and I just returned from a cruise on the Carnival Radiance. It was a 5 day cruise to Catalina Island and Ensenada. We’re in our 50’s and have gone on pricey vacations and to be honest… I was very worried that this cruise was going to be a “booze cruise” or “low class.” I wish I could have read my review beforehand because……. This cruise was amazing!!! Just perfection. The food was fantastic. The burritos, burgers, chicken sandwiches, deli, pizza, salad bar in the buffet, the sit down restaurants, all absolutely delicious. I wasn’t expecting no lines, ever. The ship was full, no empty rooms, and there was never a wait. We did the make your own time dining and the staff was always waiting to greet us by our names. Mario cleaned our room and was friendly and amazing. The people on the cruise were respectful, warm, polite, smiling, always saying hello when passing on the ship, it was a phenomenal vacation. If you’re considering this cruise do it! If you’ve already booked it congratulations! We stayed on the 9th floor, the Lido deck, and it was right near the buffet which made it super easy to get my morning coffee. And there was never a wait and there was always an empty table waiting for me. Right by a window. There were so many friendly staff just waiting to help, immediately clearing the tables, and always with a smile on their face. Getting on and off the ship was simple. I felt like I was treated beautifully and truly enjoyed myself.

Great cruise, needs improvements but still awesome
This was my 25th cruise on carnival and honestly, one of the best cruises I've been. Since I'm platnium, I can board the ship faster and I know the terminal has a sloppy say to go on but I loved the gangway to go on the ship. Food needs improvement the most and I hope carnival will work on that in the near future, but for my 4th time being on this ship, I had constant fun and especially when they bring the Ellie mascot onto the deck for pictures. I've only seen her on 3 ships and Radiance always has her out and I'm happy for that. Entertainment was good, but not the best but this was also cause it was he was new to the ship so I cut him some slack on that. What I hope Carnival fixes is the AC because the AC needs the most improvement in the room but just ask for a fan and they'll give you one.

We had an amazing time on this cruise. There was 15 in our group - Wil (myself ) Geneva (my wife) Imanne (daughter) Triston (soon to be son in law) Desiree (daughter) Cortney(son) Elijah (son) Shawn ( my brother) and Mary( his wife) Jeremy (my brother) and Sabrina ( his girlfriend) Trevor ( my brother) and Lee Lee ( his wife) Maleah ( niece) and T.J ( nephew). My wife and I along with three of our children ages 24, 21, and 16 stayed in Captain Suite room. The room and huge balcony was awesome. My son in law (to be) proposed to our daughter on said balcony. Additionally, our Stateroom Attendant Rory was the BEST. My two sons really connected with Rory. Our evening dining crew Shailesh, Manuel and Erlina were all Outstanding. They really made our dining experience exceptional. Overall, it was an enjoyable and memorable trip with people we love. Thank you for this wonderful experience Carnival Radiance.
