Tulip Time Vacation - Windmills Canals and Tulips
This cruise exceeded our expectations. Tulips, windmills and amazing scenery. We learned so much history about the Netherlands and Belgium. From large towns like Amsterdam and Rotterdam to smaller villages like Veere and Willemstad you enjoy the beauty presented to you in each region. Cruising in and our of the different locks offers seeing how the Waterways operate to arrive in another region. Thank you Avalon for new Adventures that went above and beyond what we expected on this vacation. It was so much fun riding bikes from Middleburg to Veere with our Adventure host. We really got to ride through the fields. Highly would recommend Tulip Time for your next vacation #AvalonInView Great trip. The tour guides were very informative and they had different levels for slow, medium and fast walkers. You cover the same information but at an appropriate pace. The entertainment on the ship was wonderful. We would definitely recommend this trip

Great time on my first cruise for a wedding.
This was my first cruise ever and i thought it was great. Yes there were a lot of kids as it was spring break and sometimes it got crowded in the common areas but it was still a great time. There were constant activities every day from live shows, trivia, game shows and more. We were on this cruise for a friends wedding and it was beautiful. The staff did such a great job for all aspects of the wedding. The captain performed the ceremony and fun was had by everyone in attendance. The housekeeping staff was great and very accommodating. Our servers in the main dining room were the best. Especially "Mega". I thought the food quality was good. There were different choices each night and they made sure to ask about allergies for everyone on the first night. They also had friendlier desserts for diabetics with "no sugar added". Overall the main dining room was my favorite place to eat. They also had other options like the buffet on the Lido deck, guys burger joint, the blue iguana cafe, a deli, and a pizza place. Our cabin was a perfect size for the three of us. Yes it showed its age with some discoloring on the walls and ceiling but we used the cabin to sleep. I didnt care if the wall was discolored as everything was clean and well kept. Other areas of the ship may have been showing its age but we had a great time and i am already looking at cruises for next year.

Exceeded Expectations compared to Carnival
Exceeded expectations except for day of notice that embark time had been moved up. Too late to undo personal drop offs that had to be done. Technology was also difficult to figure out on some things referenced in notifications. For example, excursion notification came and it referenced ‘read items to know section”. We had to go to sailor services to find out what they referring to. We liked the chat feature because we had couple other questions and they directed us where to go. Cabin and dining services were exceptional including Marlon made a point to greet us on 1st day to ensure we had everything we needed and then continued to follow-up with us everyday to see if we were enjoying ourselves. He remembered our names each time. He and Rajesh made sure our cabin was restocked and cleaned everyday. Ohm served us at Test Kitchen. His enthusiasm for explaining the meals and drinks was contagious. Pigotti served us at High Tea which was a new experience for us. She made great recommendations.
